Uniform
We have spent much of the past year working on our new logo and branding, with the most recent update being the launch of our new website. Another element of this project has been to re-evaluate the uniform. I am delighted to share the details of this with you today - please find attached. We are moving to a uniform colour that is more vibrant and energetic, in line with what the Federation stands for.
Please note that there is absolutely no obligation to buy new uniform. We understand that the phasing-in of the new uniform will be a gradual process. We anticipate families will start to buy the updated uniform as and when they need to replace items. Please do not feel under any pressure to move to the new uniform.
We have explored different items and suppliers to ensure that we continue to offer families cost-effective options. We have streamlined the uniform to help with this and now have only three branded pieces – sweatshirt, cardigan and PE hoodie. Children are welcome to wear unbranded pieces in the school colour which can be purchased from supermarkets or other online suppliers (we sourced non-branded options as part of due diligence from ASDA George).
Details of the uniform are below:
The wearing of jewellery is restricted to stud earrings only. These must be removed or covered for PE lessons. Children should not wear make-up to school.
Children may be required to have shin pads, gum shields and football boots in order to participate in certain sporting activities.
All clothing, including coats, should be clearly marked with the child’s name. You can buy stick on name labels from Stikins and raise money for the school, please quote number 25578 when ordering.
